The best way to predict your future is create it
1. We firmly believe we are the products of the best school in the country. Building this platform meant we could organize ourselves better, in a way that many schools could only dream of. Networking is the backbone of a strong Alumini network. Networking that goes far beyond the capabilities of Facebook and WhatsApp.
If you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in the Dark with a Mosquito.
2. We believe that knowledge is power. Imagine a database of over ten thousand Presecans. Imagine being able to contact, and do business with the finest Entrepreneurs, Scientists, Architects, Engineers, Lawyers, Politicians, and Academics from all over the world. In a world powered by data, there are endless possibilities to what we could achieve, by organising our year groups and using our data to promote our causes. We have a once in a life time opportunity to change the way year groups are managed in our generation. We are creating a model for the next level of social networking, which is deep networking in an exclusive network of people we trust.
There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs
3. We acknowledge that the journey ahead will be difficult. Creating a single platform, managing multiple priorities and conflicting ideas will be difficult. We are driven by a thirst to succeed and to improve the Presec brand. In doing so we will build our businesses, support our school and create opportunities for Presecans the world over.
Opportunities are never lost because someone will always take the opportunities you missed
4. Many attempts have been made to create a platform like www.odadee.net. So what makes this platform different? Odadee.net is not purely an information site about Presec and it’s history. The platform is an on-going conversation between a group of boys who became men, a catalogue of dreams, ideas and a spring board for inspiration driving us along to happy victory. We don’t know what victory looks like, we don’t even know if we will get there, but we want to be the generation that tried. So use this platform. Invite your classmates, share your ideas, start a conversation and share your story.
This is mine...
Hi,
My Name is Alfred Opare Saforo.
I was the class prefect for one of many classes in my year group. I scrubbed the "doma" I ate "gasso", and when it was prep time the mosquitos in the classroom block ate me too. I never actually made it to the end of our "shepe shepe" dawn jogging on Saturdays and I used to run away home without permission because I was hungry, sick and tired of being bullied. When I became a senior, I kept the best part of the Jollof on Sundays to myself and I had a junior who used to carry my plate to the dining hall.
I never really won any academic awards, not because I was stupid, no but more because I was in the company of great minds. My best efforts were inferior to some of the geniuses that I had the privilege to sit in class with. I made life time friends and had fantastic opportunities.
These days you will find me in a little town in Buckinghamshire in England, with my son and wife (who is also an Odadee). Together we are building our dream a dream which we probably could not have achieved without the solid foundation we received from Presec.
I am forever grateful.
Now share your story....
Love Always
Alfy
